PRACTICAL SOLAR ADOPTION FOR URBAN HOUSING SOCIETIES
Crestia CHS is an urban residential housing society with recurring energy demand across common services such as lighting, lifts, and utilities. Like many urban societies, it faced increasing electricity costs and long-term exposure to tariff escalation.
The objective was to adopt solar energy in a way that was practical, predictable, and easy to manage.
The society required:
• A right-sized solar system aligned with actual consumption
• Clear annual cost savings
• Seamless electrical integration
• Long-term operational simplicity
Viosimo designed and deployed a 50 kW rooftop solar PV system, tailored to the society's load profile and available roof area.
The installation was planned to ensure:
• Optimal energy generation
• Safe integration with existing infrastructure
• Minimal operational intervention
• Installed Capacity: 50 kW rooftop solar PV
• Annual Energy Generation: ~67,500 units
• CO₂ Mitigation: ~52 tonnes annually
• Annual Energy Savings: ~₹10.8 lakh
The system is designed to deliver stable performance and savings over a 25-year operational life.
Crestia CHS reflects how mid-scale residential infrastructure can adopt solar energy responsibly — with clear financial benefits and minimal operational burden.
